Our Dental Team
Everyday Smiles Dental Practice has a dedicated group of dentists, hygienists and support staff who are ready to assist you with all your oral health care needs.
As a general and family dental clinic, our top priority is the oral health of you and your family. Our clinic has ample customer parking and is conveniently situated at Shop B/100 Holmead Rd, Eight Mile Plains QLD 4113.
Everyday Smiles Dental Practice is part of the TC Dental Group, with branches in Annerley and Upper Mt. Gravatt. TC Dental Group is committed to providing the highest quality dental care for each of our patients.
We are one of only a few dental practices in the Brisbane area with its own onsite dental laboratory. We fabricate custom-made veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays, bridges and implants to exact specifications.
Dr. Linda Chen
Dental Surgeon and Clinical Director
Dr. Linda Chen completed her Bachelor of Dentistry at University of Queensland in 2000. She and her partner, Dr Huy Tran, have developed TC Dental Group into a quality dental service for the residents of Eight Mile Plains and its surrounding suburbs.
Backed by years of experience, Dr. Chen ensures that you and your family’s dental treatment and care are understood and well looked after by every member of the TC Dental Group team. Your oral health will be safe in Dr. Chen’s hands, and you will feel and look your best when you achieve your dream smile.
Dr. Huy Tran
Dental Surgeon and Clinical Director
Dr. Huy Tran obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 2000. Dr. Tran co-founded TC Dental Group along with Dr. Linda Chen. He has recently added the Complete Dental Works clinic to the TC Dental Group. Dr. Tran actively listens to his patients in order to develop a full understanding of their needs and concerns, and create a customised treatment plan.
He explains each step of the recommended treatment plan clearly, so that his patients can make an informed decision before receiving dental treatment. Dr. Tran wants to ensure that all his patients maintain lifelong oral health and hygiene. He also enjoys helping and interacting with patients of all ages – from all walks of life.
Dr. Yulian Wei
Dental Surgeon
Dr. Wei obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science from Griffith University. During her studies, she received the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence. Since graduating, Dr. Wei has worked in dental clinics across Brisbane. Dr. Wei was chosen to join TC Dental Group team for her exceptional patient communication skills.
She has a gentle nature and listens actively to each of her patients. Dr. Wei intuitively understands her patients with dental anxiety issues. Her calm and caring approach has helped many of our patients to overcome their fears, regain their trust and accept their dental treatment in a positive way. She also loves to inspire and educate kids to actively look after their oral health.
Pingla
Senior Dental Administrator
Pingla became part of ESDP, TC and CDW Dental Practice in 2017 as a Senior Dental Administrator. She holds Cert 3 in dental nursing and has years of experience in dentistry. Pingla’s main role is front desk, making appointments and settling accounts but She is practice’s versatile who you may also see assisting. She believes in team empowerment.
Pingla loves a good laugh which makes patients at ease and comfortable. Her position entails meeting new people every day. Apart from work, Pingla’s family is her priority, She loves spending time with, and in her spare time, she also enjoys watching movies and going for a long walk on the beach. She considers myself very upbeat.
Praveena
Dental Administrator
Praveena has been our front desk dental coordinator since 2018. She enjoys interacting with her patients, and seeing their smiles and confidence grow with each visit. In her spare time she loves spending time with her four sons and grandsons, as well as going for long hikes and getaways in the hinterland with her husband.
Monica
Dental Assistant
Monica has worked in the role of dental assistant at TC Dental Group clinics for the last three years. She assists our dentists during patient treatment sessions daily. Monica loves working in our dental surgery and meeting each of our new patients, not to mention our regulars.
She looks forward to taking on the fresh challenges that arise with each day. She assists and gently encourages all our patients to reach their dental goals, while making sure they have a positive, relaxing and comfortable experience during their visit.
Anita
Dental Assistant / Receptionist
Anita recently joined the TC Dental Group and is in training for dental assisting and reception. She makes it a personal goal to care for her patients and ensure they feel comfortably relaxed during their dental appointments. Outside of work, Anita enjoys the visual arts by making digital art. And in her days off, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.
Reina
Dental Assistant
Reina is originally from Korea. She obtained her Certificate of Dental Hygiene at Wonkwang Health Science University, South Korea and worked as dental hygienist in Korea for 7 years before moving to Australia.
Reina joined TC Dental Group in 2018 and is an integral member of our team. Reina is passionate about her job and she’s proud to be a part of the TC family. In her spare time, she loves cooking and gardening, as well as going camping and fishing on holidays.
